PepGenex provides an asynchronous (store-and-forward) telehealth platform. You will not have a real-time live video or phone visit with a provider. You will complete an intake questionnaire and submit health information that licensed independent healthcare providers will review on their own schedule. The provider will then determine, in their independent clinical judgment, whether to issue a prescription, request additional information, or decline service.
Telehealth has limitations compared to in-person care. The provider cannot perform a physical examination, take vital signs, or order in-person diagnostic tests. Information you submit may be incomplete or inaccurate, which could affect clinical decisions. Technology failures, delayed responses, or lapses in transmission may occur. By using PepGenex you acknowledge these limitations and accept that asynchronous care may not be appropriate for every condition.
Submitting an intake or providing payment information does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. The provider may decide, based on your responses, medical history, or applicable law, that a prescription is not clinically appropriate. In that case no prescription will be issued and any pre-authorization on your payment method will be released or refunded as set forth in the Terms of Service.
All clinical decisions on the PepGenex platform are made by independent licensed healthcare providers. These providers are not employees, agents, or contractors of PepGenex. PepGenex does not direct, control, or override their clinical judgment. Your provider-patient relationship is solely with the licensed provider, not with PepGenex.
If a prescription is issued, the medication may be a compounded preparation dispensed by a licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved drugs and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy. Side effects, individual response, and outcomes vary. Always follow the dosing and administration instructions provided by your prescribing provider and the dispensing pharmacy.
Information you submit through the platform — including health history, lab data, identification documents, and communications with the provider — is Protected Health Information (PHI) handled in accordance with HIPAA. See our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and Privacy Policy for details on how PepGenex collects, uses, stores, and discloses this information.
You may withdraw your consent to telehealth services at any time by emailing info@pepgenex.com. Withdrawal will take effect prospectively and will not affect care already provided or prescriptions already issued. Records relating to care you received before withdrawal will be retained as required by applicable state and federal law.
PepGenex is not designed for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, suicidal thoughts, signs of stroke, severe allergic reaction, or any other emergency, do not use PepGenex — call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
By using the PepGenex platform you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consent to telehealth services as described in this Notice. You understand that you may revoke this consent at any time by contacting info@pepgenex.com.
